Rocket Man TN (Kasanova de la Pomme x El Torreo de Muze x Crown Z x Nabab de Reve)

Rocket Man, is a KWPN-approved stallion from the mare lineage of the well-known Belgian Van Hooydonk family. From Rocket Man’s sire line, five generations of sires jump at 1.60-level jumping. But also a large number of mares from his direct mare line jump at international level such as, Everly chin de la pomme 1.60, Werly chin de muze 1.50, Funky Music 1.60, Ratina Z 1.60 and Candy 1.60 m. The fourth mare Anna, is a full sister of Ian Millar’s world famous show jumper Big Ben.

Rocket Man’s pedigree is amazing. He is a son of the top-level show jumper Kasanova de la Pomme (by Bamako de Muze). On the dam’s side, we see the mare Otina by HD (by El Torreo de Muze), who performs at 1.45m level with Jermey Sweetnam (IRL). Granddam Itina by HD (s.Crown Z) is a direct daughter of Pieter Devos’ Spruce Meadows winner Candy (s.Nabab de Rêve). So sports is therefore very strongly anchored on both sire and dam’s side.

Rocket Man was approved by the KWPN during the spring 2024 stallion test.

Rocket Man is an honest and easy-to-ride stallion with a good attitude. The stallion is very willing to work and allows himself to be worked well. His walk and trot are sufficiently spacious. The stallion canters with plenty of reach and balance. Rocket Man jumps with a very good front leg and shoulder technique, finishing the jump well.  Rocket Man shows a lot of power and has a lot of overview. As a show jumper, Rocket Man has a lot of talent and gives his rider a very good feeling. Moreover, he was one of the most striking stallions at the presentation of the new crop at the stallion show in Den Bosch 2025.
