Team Nijhof

French-bred Louison Manciais brings special and free performance blood to Dutch breeding. At the Selle Français, the striking chestnut stallion convincingly earned his stud licence. Sire Armitages Boy was a spectacular stallion at the very highest level with Aymeric de Ponnat and later Lorenzo de Luca.

Armitages Boy not only performed successfully at top level himself; his offspring does not lie either. Currently, his most famous offspring is Foxy de la Roque. At the age of nine, under Victor Bettendorf, Foxy de la Roque won the CSI4* Grand Prix of La Coruña, the CSI5* Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Rome, the CSI5* Grand Prix of Lyon and the CSI5* Super Grand Prix of Riyadh. These spectacular results prompted the sale of Foxy de la Roque to American Karl Cook for what is said to be a record sum. Louison Manciais is thus the talented half-brother of Foxy de la Roque.

On the dam’s side, Louison Manciais’ bloodline is also very interestingly built. Dam’s sire Vigo Cece adds the very valuable blood of Quaprice Bois Margot and reinforces that with Diamant de Semilly and Galoubet A. Great-grandsire Apache d’Adriers has a huge track record in sport and breeding and further on, Le Condeen brings in the brilliant blood of Grand Veneur. With subsequent French greats such as Muguet du Manoir, Double Espoir and the thoroughbred Fra Diavolo, it is a feast for lovers of French showjumping horse breeding.
