IROKO (PILOT X BENGALE)

Iroko is a stunning springcrack from a super performance line. Iroko’s sire is Pilot (living sum DM 3.7 million). He is known as the showjumper progenitor of the nineties. In the German index he takes a top position with 193 pnt. Well known Pilot offspring in the sport are; PS Priamos, Panok Pirol, Bugatti Pedro, Phantom, Everest Showtime and Panama. One of the most promising Pilot sons in Germany is the stallion Pinocchio. His granddam is a full sister of Iroko’s granddam. Iroko’s dam, Bianca, is a state premium mare. Also granddam Ricke has received this high conformation award. Iroko’s dam descends from the stallion Bengale, whose offspring in the sport have won more than half a million Mark. In the show jumping, Bengale is represented by Ben Hur, Bengalo, Bengel, Bacca and Bolero. Iroko received two nines for jumping under the saddle and free jumping during the Ermelo examination.

With Jur Vrieling, Iroko won several victories and became reserve champion at ‘The Coming Stallion’ in Zwolle. Iroko made an international appearance with Peter Geerink and they achieved several high rankings, including 1.50m. Leeuwarden and 2nd in the Grand Prix of Zuidlaren (1.60m). Iroko now has a number of approved sons in the Netherlands, Westphalia, Denmark and England. Iroko leads the jumping index (177 points) with great distance, both in 2000 and in 2001. His offspring also perform very well in dressage. Like for example Nashua with Gerdine Maree and Iroko-son Milton, who finished third in the Pavo Cup and WC Dressage Arnhem. In the USA, Iroko was the champion of the six-year competition, The Fly with Tod Minikus. In the Netherlands, Iroko offspring won the qualifications of the IAN competition for both five and six year olds. In 2003, Iroko delivered the KEUR shelf to the excellent performance of its offspring. After a stay of three years in Argentina and the U.S.A. Iroko is back in the Netherlands.
